Women's Distance Festival 5ks

(5/20-Baltimore Road Runners)
6/16-Montgomery County Road Runners
6/24-Baltimore Women's Classic
7/8-Howard County Striders
7/14-Annapolis Striders
7/15-Westminster Road Runners
(a couple in August after I leave)

If you do 4 of out of 10 or so Women's Distance Festival 5ks between Mother's Day and the end of the summer, you win some kind of premium.  Every summer my mom and I plan on doing this, and every summer up until now I've been in marathon training either with a long run on the weekend/too tired from marathon training to race/not willing to cough up $25 a week for a race.  This being my last summer in Maryland for awhile, now's my chance.

I'm also working on a list of things I need to do and places I need to see before I leave.  So far my short list is:  go to an Orioles game, go out for a crab cake dinner at a nice restaurant, visit the Woodrow Wilson house in DC, and go back to the Visionary Arts Museum.  The Dreaded Druid Hills 10k should be on there too, if it doesn't conflict with the cruise at the end of June and especially since I'll be gone by the time of the Annapolis 10-Miler and the Baltimore Marathon.

Is it through the BRRC or Active or what? I'm looking for info because that sounds like exactly what I need.
Too bad you will miss the October running festival- I am looking forward to it.

It's through the RRCA, I think. There's not much info. on their website-I had to check the club websites to find out when the races are.

Dreaded Druid Hills is June 30th, the day I get back from the cruise. So I won't be able to run that one. :-( I've run Baltimore twice though-half marathon in 2004, full marathon in 2005. I heard that they're able to include Lake Montebello this year-should help with the hills in the second half.
