As for today, let's just say that seeing the ninth ward up close for hours on end will do things to you. Didn't help that yesterday ran from 8:30 am-nearly 8 pm.

After a day like that, there are some things you want to forget. What happens in New Orleans not only stays here, it never happened. That's as much as you're going to hear, and it will not happen again.

EDIT: It will not happen again because 8+ hours of serving food out the side of an ERV is tough enough without a hangover. Ouch.

Okay, wow. I still cannot see straight. I suppose that's what three drinks in the space of about 20 minutes will do to you when you have no tolerance whatsoever. Seriously, the last time I had anything to drink was a few sips of champagne on New Year's, with my family no less-and over the course of an hour or two, not 20 minutes. Solid objects I could hang onto, like pool tables, wood pillars and walls became my new best friends. It wasn't really a good feeling. I'm going to wake up tomorrow with such a headache. Wow, running is going to be interesting. Heck, walking 6 feet to get to my bed is going to be interesting.

Well, now I've done it anyway. If this is what being a college student is all about, I'm glad I waited until the last four days. I wasn't missing much.

In other news, Erin and I went sailing for about 2 hours, then after the President's Reception (more good senior week stuff), we went down to Point Lookout to take pictures of the sunset. I love how we're cramming all this must-do St. Mary's stuff into one week. The sunset sure was pretty though.

But wow. The room is still spinning. Good thing Erin and I were there to take care of each other.
