(no subject)

I've lost my cell phone for the duration, so if I don't call you back it's not you, it really is just me.

That would explain a lot. I hope you find it soon, for your sake. And I do have stuff to tell you.

And you don't even get a trip to a canyon in Utah; just, a miissing cell phone. Blargh.

I'm sure you've tried calling it... my friend left her cell here once, and called it, and I answered so she came and got it.Other friends have had strangers find their phones and have either called or a friend called first and they figured out how to give it back that way.

Here's hoping. Try sending a text message, too.

Of course, that only works if you left it somewhere where there are people to find it. :( How long has it been missing?

Try looking in nooks and crannies in your car, your room, in and under the couches, in the pile of toys near the computer, in and around your office. If I remember, the last time you lost it, it was in the couch cushions.

I'm getting you a new clip when you find it.

I'm thinking it just fell along the side of my bed when I charged it a few nights ago. I know I had it Wednesday night so I didn't leave it at Mary's house or the Cub Scout meeting where I gave a presentation. It might be in the couch cushions, but I doubt it as I haven't spent much time on the couch lately. By the computer is out as I'm sure I would have noticed it, and I'm sure someone would have heard it ring when you called.

That last time I lost it was right after I got home from my deployment when I was even more scatterbrained than usual. It caused a minor meltdown 'cause I really needed to talk to my Red Cross friends. Now, I'm not too concerned. It'll turn up eventually.

Seems simple enough. When you do find it, please let me know. And see my journal--today might be a tough practice. I may have to do something I'd rather not do.

Shall I call it? Or are you at work?

[identity profile] roadwarrior220.livejournal.com 2006-05-19 04:10 pm (UTC)(link)
I already did about an hour ago. It's probably in the house somewhere, because if she isn't busy at work, she will pick up--at least she has when I've called in the past.

I only answer it when you call at work because you don't call very often. I figure it's important when you do. Don't abuse the privilege.

Just making sure you know how it is, you know. :-)

Don't worry, I'm not abusing it. I called earlier to see if you could hear it in your office, though you did say after that that it was probably in your room.

I know how it works, I promise. I only call during the day when it's important.

Don't worry, I found it yesterday afternoon. It was under the passenger-side seat in my car. Must have rolled out of my open purse when I stopped at a light or something.

At least you can call them when you need them (maybe not in that situation, but...)

I need something on my keys and wallet I can call. Those, I'm always losing. Forever and a day.
