marathoner452Job interview yesterday morning-offered a summer job 7-3:30, $7 an hour, sorting parts at Black & Decker, possibility of overtime. Job interview tomorrow-who knows? I'm taking whichever one offers better money or better hours or both.
On the running front, the race Sunday went well. I'll post a race report shortly. But I think I pulled a quad muscle-not at the race but before, probably thanks to my long run Thursday. For now, I'm taking it easy, running slow recovery miles and trying to ice it as often as possible. Dang running injuries taking away my fix. It's nearly perfect weather for running-about 60 and sunny. I'd love to do a 6 mile run right now. Errrgh.
Okay, back to the Key West census. I'll get in an hour of that while icing my leg, then head outside to clean up the garden.
Errrgh. Recovering from an injury is NOT fun.
