Nope, my roommate was in Philly. Long story. I evacuated with a fellow teacher who I've known for two weeks. I'm pretty sure that's not in any faculty handbook: for better staff relations, hurricane evacuation is recommended. :P
I ended up taking the dog on lots of walks, eating lots of sandwiches at Subway, watching the news every 5 minutes, and eating at Jim 'n' Nick's BBQ downtown.
