New Orleans chooses you.

It's inspiring for me to see how many of my fellow students in the Meeting the Needs of All Learners class last night understand that.  Many of them are like me, first came down as a volunteer then felt compelled to do more and decided to move here and teach.  Either that, or they'd been chosen before the storm or they tried to move away and had to come back.

We must be crazy.  Somehow I think we're not.
