comments like this make me happy

The principal at the charter school stopped me on my way out this afternoon and told me that I do a really good job of working with the little kids.  She said she can tell my approach is similar to that of their regular teacher, very child-centered.  I didn't even know she was paying attention.

Yay, vindication that I belong in elementary school.  I'm subbing in kindergarten tomorrow and two days in pre-k next week.  I've been asked to be available to take over the pre-k class for the rest of the year in case the teacher needs to be out for personal reasons.  I love this school.  I would love to teach there, except I don't think they hire uncertified teachers.
