Please tell me your list is the board's recommendations. I'm shuddering over some of the books that made it onto the reader's side. And wondering how Rand and Hubbard swept the top ten.

It's both. Left side is the board's recommendations, right side is the reader's. Just out of curiosity, which one's do you think don't belong on there? I read mostly history and weather stuff, so I'd be interested to know what you think.

I may go with you for that disaster response thing. I want to contribute something more than just extra money.
