I hate being injured
Jul. 22nd, 2004 11:35 pmeven when it's from something as cool as sailing. I think I ripped some quad muscles, mostly in the left leg, while squatting in the boat Tuesday night. I took last night off from running (but I went for a short, late walk after watching Schindler's List with my family) and ran just 3 tonight and iced that leg on and off this evening, but I still can barely walk and it's getting really irritating. It's irritating to go from 3 runs in 24 hours with little pain last weekend (7, 3, 11), to barely being able to walk.
I know it's probably healthy in the end to be forced to take a little break from running, but it's still driving me crazy to have to deviate from my marathon training schedule. I know this is a cutback week, but I want to keep going.
