I'm going to set a minor record here in the next couple of weeks, what with all the disaster classes I'm taking:

Logistics Overview, morning of 4/29 (Baltimore)
Logistics Simulation, afternoon of 4/29 (Baltimore)
Disaster Kitchen Training, all day 4/30 and 5/1 (West Virginia)
ERV Driving, all day 5/6 (Arlington, VA)
Disaster Assessment, evening of 5/10 (Frederick)
possibly Collaboration, all day 6/3 and 6/4 (Frederick)

I spent the night at Michelle's apartment last night. Her dog is crazy but eventually learned that I was not out to get him.

The sooner I get out for a run of some length, the better. Even just going up to the track and running circles for 5 miles would help. I need to recover from staying up so late last night first though.

If I don't stop buying books and reading 50bookchallenge posts, I'm never going to get caught up on my reading. On that note, I'm going to get off the computer and start reading.

Quite a bit of stuff for you coming up--and they all sound great, especially that ERV driving class, which I know you'll thoroughly enjoy. And I know this has come up before, but you know the State Finals for track are the same weekend of the Collaboration class. No pressure, but I would love it if you could be there.

Wow. Full schedule. You know, there's always the local library, she says each time she finds herself in the checkout line at Borders... :)

The library is my friend. The only problem I have right now is that I have too many books checked out that I can't read them quickly enough! Some of them have holds placed on them so I can't renew them either, hence the reason why my Sunday afternoon was handed over to reading 150 pages of The Tenth Circle, due tomorrow.

Used bookstores are great too. I discovered Willow Tree Books in Westminster Saturday-they gave me 17 bucks in credit for a box of used books, so I got my 7 new books for a grand total of 4 bucks! Pretty exciting, though I'm not sure when I'll ever have a chance to read all of them.

Such problems.

I know the feeling. I've got a stack of books, with varying due dates. :)

I *love* weeks that are filled with disaster classes. :) I miss them!

(I'd love to hear about the Collaboration class, if you end up going)
