It's not so much "yay I get to help gut out houses" as it is "yay I get to help people and go back to New Orleans." You all are going through more than anyone should have to go through to get your city back on its feet, and using my vacation days to help you all out is the least I can do.
Plus, I fell in love with New Orleans in just three weeks. I've been homesick since I got home, if that makes any sense. It's a pleasure and an honor to be going back.
