Yay! I found my disaster action team steel-toed boots so now I don't need to spend 35 bucks on new ones to go out on Frederick County fire calls. And I heard from James, one of my friends from Miami who's now living in New Jersey, starting his first real winter, working at the Dept. of Defense and in grad school for mechanical engineering. And I finished Don't Stop the Carnival this evening to boot.

Sometimes it's really nice to have a day to just sit around and catch up on all that passes you by when you're busy.
