it's snowing

Oh no, I think I've seen five flakes of snow. Good thing we've been under a winter weather advisory for the the last few hours, or else I might get into an accident on the way home when one distracting flake of snow gets stuck on my windshield.

Why on earth do we get worked up about innocuous forms of weather when there are much bigger things wrong with this world?

I guess I'm feeling a little cynical right now, but mostly just amused.

I'm actually kinda glad we didn't get more 'cause I have to drive an hour each way as it is...but it was kinda disappointing. You'd think we were getting a blizzard from the way people blew it out of proportion-runs on the grocery store, winter weather advisories, schools letting out early...all for 1 inch of snow.

I agree, we're wimps.

My main concern isn't so much the snow as it is the way some people forget how to drive in it. I know you're a good, safe driver, but as we both know, there are some real boneheads on the road who don't belong behind the wheel of a car when it snows or rains. :-P There are plenty of them out here--you heard of a few of them yesterday.

That comment wasn't directed at you, more at the weather forcasters who blow things out of proportion. Winter weather advisories for 1 inch of snow is silly, but at least it's pretty and made for a very enjoyable run last night.

There isn't much I get worked up about, as I'm sure you've noticed, but safety behind the wheel is one of them, and especially when it comes to you. :-)
