yay for not sitting around the house all day

I'm working on updating this every day, so fortunately I actually have something to talk about today other than sleeping in and playing mind-numbing computer games. Church this morning, then off to Sarah's house to watch Catch-22-her house is much closer than I remembered, even if I did get almost-lost a couple of times. Then we just kinda hung out for awhile watching whatever we could find on TV-a football game interspersed with Save the Last Dance, mostly. Then we celebrated her mom's birthday with chocolate-chip cake and ice cream. Yummy. And I didn't even get lost driving back home.

It's good to spend the weekend doing something other than sitting around the house for once.

Wearing Mardi Gras beads and listening to Hurricane Relief: Come Together Now just makes me happy. :-)

I'm with you, especially on the last two statements. And I know I was a bit cynical last night with the football thing--I don't mind watching it but sometimes it gets to be a bit much.

Football is fun when you watch it with girls-all we do is cheer when our team scores and ogle long flowing hair. :P We really had no idea what was going on.
