I'm not sure I'm all that impressed with a lot of the finalists, but it's an interesting concept and worth checking out. I have to say I'm surprised at all the animosity surrounding those ideas that were chosen, though I can understand the disappointment if people were looking for something truely original.

I voted for the "Civil Works Corps", "Tie Cost of Living to Minimum Wage", and "Massive Public Works Projects." They all sound like options that would impact everyone positively, and especially people in our age bracket. Which ones did you vote for?

Everything about it pretty much spoke to me of your AmeriCorps training, especially the anti-povery stuff. The bringing income to impoverished areas item pretty much sealed it. Just seemed like something you'd go for.
