So no one really leaves comments in here anymore, but I have nothing better to do so I"ll post here anyway.
I officially love running in the morning, even if I officially don't love getting up at 6:30. It was worth it to watch the sunrise over the St. Mary's River with all the fog. Yeah, it was a little chilly, but that sure beats heat and humidity. I love running partners who force you to get up early-thanks Christine.
So despite the fact that I'm short on sleep, I'm feelin' better than I usually do after sleeping in on Tuesdays. Impressive. Maybe I'll actually be able to be productive today. That would be a unique experience. I have so much reading to do that I can't afford not to be productive-darn 1/2 marathon that used up all of my available mental focus and rendered me incapable of actually doing work last week. Yeah. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
So...running in the morning is cool, mountains of reading will get done and leave me some comments so I feel loved. :p

But it is sooo hard for me to get up!

I like running in the evenings but the winter will pose a problem. I am thinking of buying trail sneakers to run in the snow with - have you done this?

Good training! Keep it up ;)

I don't know about trail shoes, but I'm thinking of getting chains for my running shoes. Kinda like cleats, or snow tires for running shoes. Trail shoes might be a better idea-that way you could run in patchy snow and not slip on the pavement on the chains. But this is coming from someone who spent last "winter" in Miami too...B-)
Watching the sun rise over the water makes getting up that early worthwhile!

I'm leaving a comment to make you feel loved! I admire your dedication...wild horses couldn't drag me out of bed at 6:30 in the morning!!!
Good luck with your work :-P

Getting up that early to run really isn't that bed...once you get out of bed. Getting out of bed and turning on the lights has gotta be the worst part. But when you know someone's counting on you, it's not bad at all.

Different Christine than you know. Running partner Christine has run 2 marathons and a 6:51 mile and is a biology major.
