I love the view from my new office, but it is freezing in here. I might have to break out the long underwear (hee hee, yes kids I said underwear) from my fire call kit. All I have to say is that they'd better get the furniture out of the unheated warehouse soon so they can close that door. Brrrrrr.

Up next today:
-Being very happy that I don't have to drive up to Myersville/Wolfsville today. Thank goodness I have a volunteer covering those presentations.
-Cross-referencing our lists of apartment complexes.
-Start calling apartment complexes re. distribution of fire safety literature. Try to call at least 5.
-Reading in the cute little Walkersville library after work.
-Emergency Services meeting this evening=another chance to promote my CDE programs and recruit more volunteers.

An eventful day for you, but a productive one nonetheless. I've applied to 12 jobs today, and I'll be calling headhunters in about an hour. Hope you get warmed up soon--I'd hate for you to have to wear long underwear (hee hee) on Mardi Gras.

And this just in: Mom's surgery will be on or around April 16th.
