I changed my options so that anyone can leave a comment in my journal. If you don't have a journal of your own your comments will be listed as anonymous, so if that's you please sign your entries so I know who you are. :-)

New Orleans assignment

Bethany, Wendy gave me the url to your journal. You have captured the essence of the assignment. My stories would be a little different, and the "Red Cross moments" would have different characters. But your journal sure does bring it all back. It was great to have met you, a young woman of awesome character (and talent too, judging from your writing).

Writing it out is cathartic for me and helps me process all that I saw down there. I've probably filled 80+ pages in my personal journal since I left home for Louisiana March 2nd. Without being able to write it all down, I don't know what I'd do.
