hurricane season 2006

I'm making up "hurricane season 2006" cards for the other Red Cross disaster relief workers I met in New Orleans. I'm looking for something clever and meaningful to write on the front, and something matching and catchy to write on the inside. Something to the tune of "you all have helped show me that the power of nature to destroy has nothing on the power of the human spirit." Only more eloquent than that.

(I'll work a little more on the wording, but you get the idea.)

You all are great.

Date: 2006-05-24 02:52 am (UTC)On the inside: But you obviously do, thanks for restoring people's faith in desegregation and helping get lives back on track (sorry if it's a bit off-color)
-or-
On the outside: "Though winds may blow and waters rise
We have the power to help restore lives"
On the inside: "Working together, we have the power to do something great,
Not only helping people to rebuild their homes, but to restore their faith."
(or on the inside: "NOW CHUG!")
